Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all travel, tour, visa assistance, and recruitment services provided by Milky-Way Travel & Recruit. By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana and applicable international regulations.
1. Bookings and Payments
1.1. All bookings for travel, tours, visa assistance, or recruitment services are subject to availability and confirmation by Milky-Way Travel & Recruit and relevant third party providers.
1.2. Clients may be required to pay a deposit or full payment at the time of booking, depending on the service or package selected. Payment terms will be clearly communicated before confirmation.
1.3. Prices may change due to factors beyond our control, including airline fare adjustments, exchange rate fluctuations, government taxes, or supplier price revisions. Clients will be informed of any changes before final confirmation.
1.4. Full payment must be completed within the agreed timeframe. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking or service without liability to Milky-Way Travel & Recruit.
2. Cancellations and Refund Policy
2.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.
2.2. Refund eligibility depends on the terms and conditions of airlines, hotels, tour operators, employers, embassies, and other service providers involved.
2.3. Administrative or processing fees may apply where applicable.
2.4. Once travel has commenced or recruitment processing has reached an irreversible stage, refunds may not be possible except where required by law or supplier policy.
2.5. Visa application fees, embassy fees, and government processing charges are non refundable once submitted.
3. Travel Documents and Legal Requirements
3.1. Clients are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, work permits, health certificates, vaccinations, and any other required documentation.
3.2. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit provides guidance and assistance but does not issue passports, visas, or permits and cannot guarantee approval by embassies, immigration authorities, or employers.
3.3. Clients must comply with immigration laws, employment regulations, and public health requirements of both Ghana and the destination country.
3.4. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit shall not be held liable for losses resulting from denied visas, denied entry, incomplete documentation, or failure to meet legal requirements.
4. Recruitment Services
4.1. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit connects candidates with verified employers locally and internationally in accordance with Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651), and applicable international labor standards.
4.2. Final hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit does not guarantee employment placement but facilitates the recruitment process.
4.3. Candidates are responsible for providing accurate, truthful, and complete information. Submission of false information may result in disqualification.
4.4. All recruitment processes are conducted transparently and ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws governing international employment.
5. Changes, Modifications and Service Adjustments
5.1. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit reserves the right to make reasonable changes to travel itineraries, accommodations, transport, or employment arrangements due to operational requirements, safety considerations, or supplier changes.
5.2. Where possible, suitable alternatives of equal value and standard will be provided.
5.3. Any additional costs resulting from client requested changes will be the responsibility of the client.
6. Liability and Responsibility
6.1. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit acts as an intermediary between clients and third party service providers such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, embassies, and employers.
6.2. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, damages, or service failures caused by third party providers.
6.3. Clients are responsible for their personal safety, conduct, belongings, and compliance with local laws during travel or employment.
6.4. Clients are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, accidents, and personal loss.
7. Force Majeure
Milky-Way Travel & Recruit shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Government actions or restrictions
War or civil unrest
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Airline or transportation disruptions
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. Milky-Way Travel & Recruit collects and processes personal data in accordance with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and applicable international data protection standards.
8.2. Personal information is used solely for travel booking, recruitment processing, visa assistance, and related services.
8.3. We do not sell or unlawfully share client information with unauthorized third parties.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
9.2. Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved through lawful dispute resolution mechanisms within the jurisdiction of Ghana.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services of Milky-Way Travel & Recruit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
